My name is Sam Catanzaro, and I am a videographer and filmmaker from Seattle, currently studying at LMU’s School of Film and Television in Los Angeles. Right now, I am diving deep into LMU’s Student Film Productions and have worked on many projects over the last 2 years. But when I am not on set, I am still pursuing the creation of Social Media Content, Independent Films, and Sports Highlights.

Working both as a Freelance and a Student Producer has quickly become my pride and joy. I love working on the logistics and overseeing these projects throughout all stages of production. Coordinating the crew, meeting deadlines, permitting, compliance, and looking after the crew have become my favorite things to do in Film.

Taking the skills I have learned from creating sports content and the workflow of working on student film sets, Duke Productions now offers commercial-style social media content for brands. In 2025, we became a Lithia Motors Approved Vendor and worked with BMW Seattle on creating content for their social media pages.

Sports Highlights
Over the course of 5 years, I have worked with countless sports teams to create content for their social media and sponsors. This began with my local high school and quickly grew around Seattle, leading me to work with countless teams around the PNW. As I arrived at LMU, I also joined the Sports Media Team to create content alongside an amazing team.

As a student filmmaker, I am exposed to numerous other successful and inspirational filmmakers daily. Being surrounded by these like-minded peers and renowned faculty is the ultimate place for me to learn. Personally, I have directed and edited 2 LMU short films so far. And during my time on Upper Division LMU Film Productions, I have worked as a Producer, 1st AD, 1st AC, 2nd AC, Grip, and BTS Photographer.
